Since I was 20 years old, I have been a stay-at-home mom doing odd jobs when opportunities presented themselves. I loved being able to be at home with my three girls, Kate, Kenzie and Karter. During those years I began having a desire to begin a career in cosmetology. I knew it was something I truly wanted to do, simply because I truly enjoyed the life I was living. After a few conversations with my husband, we decided I should take the leap.
In 2021 I made that leap to become a full-time student, mother and wife. I quickly fell in love with all things cosmetology. School was a gift, learning my craft was an adventure, and graduating was an incredible reward.
Now I spend my days doing what I love. What I love most is taking time to hear someone’s desired look, and working together with the client to achieve their desired look. I also love the time I get to spend with each person as I hear their story. To me it’s not just their hair, it’s part of their story. What I enjoy most about cosmetology is the feeling I get when the person smiles and says “I love it.”
